NOTE: In March 2010 Editor Software released StyleWriter Version 4. These download instructions are for this version. It also contains a downloadable Tutor to the program which we recommend you view to learn how to use all teh program's features.

Download instructions

1. Click here to begin downloading a compressed (18MB) installation file SWUS401-6setup.exe to your PC.

2. When prompted, select "Save To Disk". You need to remember where you saved the file. An easy way to do this is to save it to your desktop.

3. When the download has finished, run the SWUS401-6setup.exe file by double clicking on it to start the installation.

4. After installation, you can delete the download file from your desktop.

StyleWriter version

We have United States, United Kingdom and Australian versions of the program. Each international version of StyleWriter reflects the English usage of the area. Each entry in the program, its advice and help screens are consistent with the following authorities.

United States (US) — Webster’s Dictionary

United Kingdom (UK) — Oxford Dictionary

Australian (AUS) — Macquarie Dictionary

When you install from SW401-6setup.exe the default is to install the USA version. If you want to install the other versions or all three versions, select custom setup during the installation.

The 30-day Time Limit

StyleWriter runs for 30 days before you need to register as the official user. If you have not already paid for StyleWriter, you will need to pay when you register. Once registered, we will send you a key to remove the 30-day limit so you can use StyleWriter without restriction.
