New High Efficiency @ e-mail Course

E-mail is now the main program used in the workplace. Editor Software has teamed up with a UK company, High Efficiency Skills, to design a course on how to use e-mail effectively.

Most office workers spend over two hours a day dealing with up to 200 email messages. The High Efficiency @ Email Course can train everyone in an organization to use e-mail in a new way. The training cuts by 30 per cent the time spent on e-mail and increases everyone's productivity.

Key ideas in the High Efficiency @ E-mail Course include:

Clearing the inbox quickly and efficiently.
Organizing folders for maximum efficiency.
Setting priorities within email.
Writing plain English emails.
Writing productive subject lines.
Understanding the consequences of e-mail.
Understanding e-mail security.
Tips and Tricks to get more out of e-mail.

The three-hour Course will let organizations train hundreds of employees, cheaply, quickly and efficiently. The three hours each staff member invests in the Course will be repaid many times over as they become much more efficient and productive using email.

Beta versions already shown to business and government agencies have proved popular and we expect many organizations buy licenses to train all their employees.

Why is the Course popular? Because it solves the common problem in organizations today - the abuse and misuse of e-mail and turns it back to the efficient and useful tool it was meant to be.

The Course will be available by May 2006 and sold only in large licenses to businesses and government agencies. At the moment, there are no plans to release it for individual users. Individuals and organizations can register interest by clicking here.

City of Los Angeles StyleWriter Project

The City of Los Angeles is the latest government body to buy a large StyleWriter license. The City authority has bought a 100-user license to improve employee writing skills and documents sent to the public.

Other US government organizations with large StyleWriter licenses (1,000+ users or site licenses) include the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Aviation Administration and the Farm Credit Agency.

House Style Customization Popular

Several United Kingdom financial institutions have commissioned Editor Software to design electronic house style rules to write consistently in all documents.
